mETHODZ RISING’s summer intensive IS A PREMIER program FOR YOUNG DANCERS IN rOANOKE, vA aREA. bUILT FOR KIDS WHO ARE READY TO GROW. oVER TWO WEEKS OF IMMERSIVE TRAINING, DANCERS WORK ALONGSIDE NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED GUEST INSTRUCTORS ACROSS MULTIPLE STYLES, BUILDING TECHNIQUE, ARTISTRY AND CONFIDENCE IN A NURTURING, HIGH ENERGY ENVIRONMENT. WHETHER YOUR DANCER IS JUST FINDING THEIR FOOTING OR PREPARING TO COMPETE, METHODZ RISING IS WHERE THEY LEVEL UP.
bEGINNER
Ages 7+ | 6+ Hours per week
The beginner intensive is designed for dancers who have some experience and are ready to take their training seriously. over the course of two weeks, beginner dancers will train across five disciplines - Contemporary, Jazz, ballet, Acrobatics, and Hip hop - guided by world-class instructors who know how to challenge and inspire developing dancers.
This isn’t just a dance class. It’s a full immersive experience where your dance will build real technique discover new styles and leave with skills they’ll carry into every class they take after this.

Int/Advanced
Ages 11+ | 8+ Hours per week
The intermediate / Advanced Intensive is for serious dancers who are ready to be pushed. with nearly nine hours of training per week across contemporary, jazz, ballet, acrobatics, hip hop and Strength/Stretch, this program is designed to challenge experienced dancers at every level - technically, artistically, and physically.
Expect instruction that meets you where you are and pushes you further than you thought you could go. Dancers completing both weeks are eligible to audition for the methodz rising competition team.

Big moves for little dancers. mini dace camp is a themed saturday experience that introduces the youngest movers to the joy of dance through storytelling, crafts, and age-appropriate combinations. No experience needed - just curiosity, energy and a love of moving
Each week brings a brand new theme. Day one invites dancers into dance me a story, where movement meets imagination through books, crafts, and original combinations. week 2 dives under the sea with the little mermaid - complete with themed crafts and a fun routine your little one will want to perform at home all summer long.
Drop in only. Just show up and dance.

Think you dancer has what it takes? the methodz rising competition team audition is the moment to prove it! open to all levels of dancers who have completed the two week intensive, auditions will evaluate and help to place dancers for the upcoming season.
To be eligible:
Enrollment in the full 2-week intensive is required. Dancers unable to attend both weeks must contact the director prior to audition day for approval. audition registration is included automatically as part of your 2-week intensive registration. no separate sign up needed.
